2020 5K Run / Walk & Kids Fun Run Cancelled Due to Covid-19 Pandemic
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Plymouth Crime & Fire Prevention Fund (PC&FPF) has decided to cancel the Plymouth Firefighters 5K Run / Walk and Kids Fun Run for 2020.
We felt compelled to take this action, as we could not guarantee the safety of our participants and volunteers. We will hope for better conditions next year.

PC&FPF Awards A Scholarship During COVID-19 Pandemic
Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to award a scholarship to one of our Plymouth Police Reserves. Karleigh Johnson met all of the criteria to qualify for her scholarship, and she will be seeking her degree in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University,
Funds for scholarships come from the Corky Ornburg Scholarship Fund, which was most recently funded by Corky’s wife, Margaret, and son, Jeffrey, in his memory. Corky was a founding member of PC&FPF, and served as Treasurer for 40 years until his passing on January 25, 2018. He was recognized with the “Public Safety Legacy Award” by Public Safety Director, Mike Goldstein, in 2017.

We were privileged to present a scholarship this week to one of our Plymouth Police Explorers. Annika Tarnanen met all of the criteria to qualify for her scholarship, and she will be seeking her degree in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University,
